Cement for RMC plants

In July 2022. Moravacem cement plant in Popovac expanded its product portfolio launching new cement type – bulk cement for RMC plants CEM II/B-M(S-L) 42,5R. Considering customers’ needs and results of market analysis, Moravacem developed cement with moderate strength and heat of hydration development.

Portland composite cement CEM II/B-M (S-L) 42,5 R is produced by grinding of portland cement clinker and gypsum with mixture of glass granulated blast furnace slag and limestone. This type of cement is suitable for building of various reinforced and nonreinforced structures. It’s intended for construction companies and RMC plants participating in construction of residential, commercial and industrial structures and in infrastructure as well.

Besides moderate strength and heat of hydration development, concrete produced with CEM II/B-M(S-L) 42,5R is suitable for longer transport distances, less susceptible to shrinking and cracking.
